Random Offerings of Christian Kindness
I was waiting at the gas station to put air in my tire and I was the third car back. After the first car left, the second car pulled up and an elderly gentleman got out and motioned for me to pull up next to him. He told me he wanted to put the air in my tire, so I could be on my way. He insisted on doing everything and even checked the tire pressure before and after.
I told him thank you, he had made my day. He said it was his pleasure and God Bless Me.
I left with such a great feeling and thanked God for putting that man there for me to encounter.
I have a spinal issue and have been through many surgeries over the years. I was recovering from my most recent surgery and was wearing a neck brace. A gentleman from a plumbing company came to my house and repaired a leak under my sink and adjusted my shower valve to work better than before.
We talked while he was working and I shared my health history with him. When he finished, he told me there was no charge and wished me the best during my recovery!!
I was shocked and couldn’t believe how fortunate I was to have that guy come to my house. All he asked me to do was to share this story and R.O.C.K. the World!!!
There is still kindness in the world, and it comes when you least expect it.
Random kindness… I was stressed out trying to run into the grocery store the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Panicking about everything on my to-do list, when a young man in front of me in the long line offered for me to go ahead of him. I slowed down at that moment and realized my panic was unnecessary. I thanked him. And as I continued to wait in the line, I noticed he did the same thing for someone else who appeared to be in a rush. His kindness was contagious. As I was leaving the store I turned around and wished him a Happy Thanksgiving. My heart felt so filled!
